G Data Explorer - Gapminder - Geoclip

- Google Public Data Explorer, a new powerful visualization tool ( Data visualizations for a changing world ) dont une carte du chômage aux USA entre 1990 et 2009.

Cette application, lancée début mars (8 mars 2010 ?), a été évoquée récemment sur une liste de profs
- "Three years ago, Google acquired Trendalyzer – the technology behind Gapminder World – from Gapminder. Since then, they have launched Motion Chart (a gadget that lets you make charts from you own data) and a public data search function that make it easier to find public data in a normal google search.

- Côté carto, Géoclip est un outil incontournable, à découvrir si vous ne l'avez pas encore croisé.
Pour les USA, les cartes peuvent être à l'échelle du comté pour certaines données. C'est très utile pour nuancer certains discours récurrents sur la ""Sun Belt""
